
Benoist Type XII Tractor Biplanes were flown by Tony Jannus, Edward Korn, Frank Bell, and Ray Benedict in exhibitions throughout the Mid-West. It could also be configured with floats to serve as a waterborne aeroplane. Benoist Type XII Tractor Biplanes were powered by Roberts 6-cylinder engines and utilized unique ailerons, mounted outboard of the wings, which were warped rather than hinged, a Benoist hallmark design.
